Star Wars Battlefront 2 Beta this Weekend!
EA released a brand new Star Wars Battlefront 2 trailer in preparation for the beta this weekend.
This new trailer shows a small glimpse of the Takodana Map and The Last Jedi version of Rey. Players who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition will have early access to the beta on Wednesday. While the open beta will be available for everyone starting Friday and ending on Monday morning. Players will be able to unlock special rewards each day on different game modes that will carry over to the full game.
The game modes available for the beta are:
Galactic Assault: an infantry 20v20 massive battle that takes place in Theed on Naboo. This is the same map shown during EA’s E3 press conference this year. EA is promoting Star Wars Battlefront 2 as their flagship game for this holiday season. During the press conference, we managed to see clone troopers and separatist droids in action. Clone troopers need to defend the capital city of Theed while droids needed to capture and conquer.
Starfighter Assault: Yup, its X-Wings vs TIE Fighters! Space battles weren’t seen in the first Battlefront game but are fully included in the sequel. Players will have to fight for space dominance and have access to iconic starships like the Millennium Falcon and Slave I.
