Another month, another batch of free games for Xbox Live Gold subscribers to get their hands on.
Microsoft has just revealed what games both the Xbox One and 360 will be getting for free next month. As usual, there’ll be a total of four new titles across both platforms that Xbox Live Gold subscribers can pick up for free. While you may have seen a ‘leaked’ image floating around that implied that Devil May Cry 4 and Shadow of Mordor were going to be free titles, this has turned out to be a fake. So, what are Xbox owners going to get this month?
From October 1st to the 15th, Xbox 360 owners will be able to pick up the classic platformer Rayman 3: HD. After that, from the 15th to Halloween, they’ll get Medal of Honor: Airborne. All that’s required for these games is an Xbox Live Gold subscription.
Xbox One players will gain free access to the critically acclaimed adventure game Gone Home for the first half of the month. In the latter half, they will be able to try out the intriguing first-person puzzle game The Turing Test. It is also worth mentioning that one of the September Games with Gold titles, Oxenfree, will remain free until the 15th. Players have until Sunday to grab September’s other free games, Forza 5 and Battlefield 3.
